Art Basel 2014 Recap!

As Art Basel takes over Miami at the end of each year, we prepare for a full week of branding, bars and beach sand. For the third year in a row we provided rental furniture for Architectural Digest's AD Oasis Lounge at the James Royal Palm hotel. Also, as part of SCOPE's tent on the beach, our lounge decor and personalized flattered tables were used to create the VH1 Indoor Lounge. In addition we had furniture at the IWC Schaffhausen event at the W Hotel, the Hennessy Pop Up Lounge on Collins Ave, the Heineken House on the beach, and the Muzik launch hosted by Drake. Spring is HERE :-)

Spring is here and so are the bright colors. We decided to have some fun in the warehouse and shoot some colorful rental pieces we have in stock. Colors are such an important element when creating a lounge. Our new solid FLATTERED tables can be paired with similar rental sofas and ottomans or just use the tables as a contrast to the pillows on a sofa. This set up includes the Basic Loveseat with clear cubes on the side, Golden cube ottomans, the Mango solid FLATTERED Table, Apple Chevron and Spring Flower pillows.

For the 4th year in a row we provided lounge furniture for SiriusXM's VIP and Live Broadcasting lounges. Several world famous DJs came through the W Hotel South Beach to perform and be interviewed live on our rental pieces, which is always cool to see! This past weekend we had the opportunity to work with a very creative client who used pop art images to brand their street art themed event. Branded furniture rentals are an excellent way to create a desired atmosphere for any type of event.

We applied images to our bars, columns, benches, and tables making the street art theme visible from any point in the event. Whether you're having a drink at the bar, or sitting down to eat, the street art theme can be felt everywhere throughout the event.  

We also got to use our brand new FLATTERED tables which can also be printed on and flat pack shipped anywhere in the United States

Fun Meetings Need Some Loving...

We all know meetings can be boring at times, but if you add some bright colors and rental furniture you can definitely create a more cheerful environment and end up enjoying the meeting. Here's a simple set up that can easily be used for meetings with clients, sales meetings, or at trade show booths. This set up includes our Curved Banquet Sofa, The Bistro Table, Wire Chairs, and our patterned and solid pillows which are all available to rent for any event in Miami and South Florida.

DIY: Push pops NYE party

So last week we were thinking about last minute fun gifts we can make ourselves for the NYE dinners and celebrations. We really liked the idea of making our own customized Push Pops and after a few hours on Pinterest, we decided to give it a shot. Here it is, Push Pops filled with confetti ready to be popped at midnight.

You will need:

Push pops ( find them at superstores in bakery section).  

Colorful papers to make confetti. Look for tissue paper in your favorite colors, metallic wrapping paper, card stock and anything that looks shiny, glittery and fun.

Cut paper in small squares, punch holes into card stock and cut all materials into small pieces. Use a container to combine.

Download our free printable push pop wrapper and print in color paper. cut & wrap around. Fill with confetti and close cap. Enjoy!!!

Recap - Art Basel Miami Beach 2013

At this year's Art Basel we had a great time working with clients to brand and customize our rental furniture in so many different ways! We loved what Illy did with our bars, and how well the Illumina Bucket Tables looked in red for Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation event. We also had the pleasure of providing furniture for Architectural Digest's AD Oasis Lounge which was at the James Hotel this year. Designed by Mark Cunningham, the event came together beautifully and was a great setting to see our pieces utilized.
