Rent the look: superpowers

by Natalie Eshkenasy

RTL_SUPERPOWERS-byRonenrental.jpg

Halloween is so much fun so we decided to charge our furniture with superpowers and create a superhero inspired lounge. Superheroes are always so colorful and their outfits are awesome! I seriously believe that using the Round Island Sofa with a superman cutout coming out from the center can be a great focal point in a "superhero" themed event. It will sure create interaction with guests! Hope we can get to do a superhero event soon, but until then, charge up with superpowers and stay inspired of course!

Rent the look: Surrounded by plants

by Natalie Eshkenasy in

RTL-surrounded by plants.jpg

I love spaces that have lots of plants in different sizes and types scattered around. For this Rent The Look we wanted to curate pieces from our rental collection that could create an event in a space full of plants! (Indoors and outdoors, obviously.)

For me, plants add such an "alive" vibe, they create a happy environment and the greenery adds another layer of color to your event decor.

I love our "Tangled Green" patterned armchair, banquet sofa and ottomans. They have a modern, garden feel and I get excited just thinking about how cool it could look in an exotic, plant craziness space at a wedding or just a chic gathering. We paired them with wood pieces like our Duke Table and a Wood molding bar - wood always works with plants because that's how they are in nature ( I guess), and of course, how can we forget the palm printed Ella Shelving!!!

Stay Inspired , and surround yourself with lots of plants!! :)

Branding effectively using our furniture rentals

by Ronen Tamary

Company products and logos are one of the most important components when producing a branded event. A lounge area that incorporates a brand well, and in creative ways, is effective and satisfying at the same time.

Some Corporate clients need to place their logos in a good, visible spot during the event. But sometimes, the usual "logo on bar approach" isn't enough for them. perhaps they want a "not-so-in-your-face" way, but still serve the purpose of their brand awareness. Matching the brand colors into the lounge furniture or showing the company logo in unconventional places are just a few things we like to do when we need to think about branding.

Here's how some clients used our event furniture rentals to add custom branding and make their logos and images stand out:

Logos on illuminated bars, black bars, and mirror bars This is probably the number one way that people think of in terms of logo placement at the event. Deciding on which bar to use greatly depends on the style of the logo and the company's brand identity. I find the black and mirror bars to be more classic and elegant (maybe even masculine at times) while the illuminated bars are more "cluby", and fun.

Custom images on illuminated bars -  Many times we are approached by clients asking to add a full blown image of something that has more of an emotional or special visual connection for them like an advertising campaign or just beautiful images that matches the event concept. One example is with the Monopoly Miami & The Beaches edition launch party, where our illuminated box tables were customized with the Monopoly board. In another case, one of our private clients used the bar to place a vintage image of a swimming lady for his 50's Birthday gathering at his home, and placed the bar near his pool area and private collection of mid century modern furniture.

Branding of back bar display - What happens when you place a logo on our bar per se and the event begins? the logos are totally blocked by the crowed flocking the bar for a drink. If you wish to add the logos beyond the bars, you can place them on our illuminated image stand and/or the Ella shelving. These pieces are at eye level and are placed behind the bar, making it impossible to miss while waiting for their cocktail. Of course images are welcome and not only logos.

Using custom stencils on a chalkboard bar - The use of chalkboards became very popular at events as you can see in Bizbash ideas for decor and the chalkboard bar can really help get a more indie, artsy and young feel. We can create stencils of a logo or anything, making it super easy for our clients to place on the bar and simply trace it with colorful chalk. In the picture above you can see an example of a "Drinks & Desserts" stencil that was applied to the bar. In other cases, some event producers like to write all the social hashtags associated with the event so guests can post about it on social networks (check out the Lifestyle Retreat Lounge produced by Olivia Ormos of OO & CO).

For more examples of branded furniture at events you can take a look at our branding ideas page or give us a call if you have any questions or if you would really want to get creative at an event. The process is simple, you can send us the image or logo and we will basically take care of all the rest.

Rent The Look: Something blue

by Natalie Eshkenasy

Part of my love for color is playing with hues and tones to create a monochromatic look, like this one. I'm always inspired by spaces designed with a uniformed color scheme because it gives me a sense of minimalism and elegance. Creating monochromatic lounges at events is often unusual (excluding all white lounges of course!) but I think using the same color base at a lounge creates an instant statement, it's super modern.

From Sketch to Life

by Natalie Eshkenasy

Back in June we posted our Art Deco inspired "Rent the look" and this past Wednesday had the amazing opportunity to showcase part of it in reality!

What's awesome about the Rent the Look segment we made is that we created an Art Deco lounge, 20's inspired, and chose the Alfred I. Dupont Building as the location for our sketch. This historical building is one of the most beautiful in Miami and it fits perfectly with any romantic, old hollywood scene.

Coincidentally, the Elite Bridal Network was hosting a Gatsby themed event at the Dupont Building, so of course, we decided to sponsor the party and supply our Black and Gold Molding bars for the bar area. We were SO excited to see our Rent the Look that we created back in June come to life two months later!

Here are a few photos taken at the Dupont Building, during the Elite Bridal Networking Event, and we are SO happy to finally see these new bars matching perfectly with their setting.

P.S. We added a Banana Leaf print to our Backbar to add an extra touch of glamour and to balance the gold and black.

Stay Inspired,

Natalie

Summer, Sun, and Swim Show!

by

Swim Week went by so fast this year!

As one of the official sponsors for the Swim Show & Lingerie Show, that took place this past weekend at the Miami Beach Convention Center, we furnished 8 different lounges throughout the event and provided furniture for over 20 different designer's booths.

We also supplied rental furniture to the sponsors of the Lifestyle Retreat Lounge at the James Royal Palm Hotel for Miami Swim Week. The sponsors used branded bars, a curved DJ booth, and our classic molding bars, in addition to providing furniture for the main location of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at the Raleigh Hotel.

Here are some photos found on Instagram of our pieces throughout this year's Miami Swim Week!

Taken away by the beauty of Italy's Mediterranean coast, this Rent The Look happened!

2013 is the year of the Italian culture in the US, so we HAD to make a moodboard of course! For this "Rent The Look" we took our imagination to Sicily and carefully curated pieces from our inventory to match the vibe. I hope you like it as much as I do. So make yourself a Limonata and enjoy!
